Disgraced former President Trump is heading to Las Vegas today – and it’s putting a spotlight on the extreme MAGA candidates who have lined up to support him.
Much like Trump, NV-04 candidate Sam Peters refused to accept the results of the 2020 presidential election and said that he would not have voted to certify the election results on January 6 – undoing the will of Nevada voters and threatening the fabric of our democracy.
Peters also spread Trump’s Big Lie that there was election fraud in the 2020 election, fueling the deadly January 6 insurrection that killed 5 people, injured 140 law enforcement officers, and sowed extreme distrust in our nation’s elections. He even went as far as to call January 6 insurrectionists “civically engaged American citizens exercising their constitutional freedoms.”
As Trump heads to Vegas, will he finally endorse fellow extremist election denier Sam Peters?
