DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly: “Juan Ciscomani has repeatedly broken his promise to lower costs for families. Voters will fire him for it this November.”
I bought a mobile home in southwest Tucson nearly four years ago. As an Army veteran on a fixed income, I’ve been struggling to make ends meet as costs continue to go up, from gas to groceries to electricity.
Elected officials like U.S. Rep. Juan Ciscomani aren’t doing anything about it.
Things have gotten so bad that I haven’t been able to pay my mortgage since December. I tried to sell my mobile home last year, and then I tried a short sale. Neither worked. Last month, the outcome I had been desperately trying to avoid happened: My house foreclosed, and now I have to move out by September.
Too many Arizonans are struggling to make ends meet. Donald Trump campaigned on lowering costs, but over the last year and a half, he’s done the opposite. His policies have actually raised costs for Arizona families by $1,873 per household through the first half of 2026.
We need and deserve leaders who will make the cost of living cheaper — not do the bidding of wealthy corporations.
A year ago, [Ciscomani] also voted for Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which slashed clean energy investments and sent prices higher for everyday Americans.
There’s Trump’s war in Iran, which has sent gas prices in Arizona through the roof.In just the first two months of the war, gas prices surged 44%. People living paycheck to paycheck are being forced to make difficult decisions about whether to stop driving their cars or cooling their homes.
If Trump really wanted to make life cheaper, why did he sign the One Big Beautiful Bill Act and invade Iran?
And if Ciscomani really cared about his constituents, why has he rubber-stamped Trump’s agenda at every step of the way?
