Despite being in the majority, vulnerable New Jersey Republican Tom Kean Jr. has been wildly ineffective when it comes to cutting costs and delivering tax relief for homeowners and the middle class.
In Congress, Kean Jr. has claimed restoration of SALT is his “priority No. 1.” But new reporting from Bloomberg details how the vulnerable freshman “failed to convince [his] party to go along” with efforts to reduce the tax burden on families he represents.

“If Tom Kean Jr. wasn’t so busy hiding in Capitol Hill elevators, maybe he could deliver real relief for the families in his district directly impacted by high costs. Instead, Timid Tom cozies up to MAGA extremists like the ‘quiet and obedient’ empty suit he is.”
