Two More Republicans Enter Messy OH-09 GOP Primary

Hours before the filing deadline, two more Republicans entered in the increasingly chaotic and expensive OH-09 GOP primary.

Here’s a recap to get you up to speed:

• Earlier this month, in a leaked donor call, Republican Craig Riedel attacked Donald Trump, saying Trump is “arrogant” and “a different person than me.”

• Rep. Max Miller and Ohio GOP Senate candidate Bernie Moreno pull their endorsements with the latter endorsing Riedel’s primary opponent J.R. Majewski.

• Terrified, Craig Riedel endorses Trump.

• Trump and J.R. Majewski appear in New York together, where the former president says that Majewski will get “a second shot.”

• J.D. Vance and Frank LaRose endorse Majewski.

• Craig Riedel launches an attack ad against Majewski… in Florida.

• Panicked, the GOP establishment recruits another candidate to get in the race the day of the filing deadline.
