Failed candidate John James already lost Michigan’s new redrawn tenth congressional district twice. And his road to losing a third time is already coming into focus as another Democratic candidate entered the race today.
John James has already shown Michiganders who he is, and the more they see, the less they like. This cycle James will have to answer for his toxic record of:

threatening to rip away Michiganders’ health coverage;

misleading voters about his business record after taking millions in tax breaks;

profiting off a lucrative business relationship with the Chinese government;
-
cozying up to the far-right extremist groups at campaign events;

promoting the “Big Lie” of election fraud by seeking to silence voters, refusing to acknowledge his defeat;
-
and siding with far-right, out-of-touch billionaires like Betsy DeVos’ family and Dick Uihlein who bankrolled his campaigns.
“John James’ is a back-to-back loser because Michiganders see him for exactly what he is: a dishonest, wannabe politician who will always put his brand of extreme partisanship over delivering results,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “James’ record of lying about his business dealings, threatening Michiganders’ health care, and spreading conspiracies to erode our democracy will earn him another loss in November.” |
