Two-Time MI-10 Loser John James Put On Notice As Democratic Candidate Enters the Race

Michigan 10th Congressional District voters have already rejected John James and his toxic record of partisan politics in the last two election cycles. Now his chances just got tougher as a new Democratic candidate entered the race today.

In his third disastrous campaign, John James will have to answer for:

• Threatening to rip away health coverage for Michiganders with pre-existing conditions.

• Misleading voters about his business record after his company took millions in tax breaks.

• Cozying up to far-right extremists including the Proud Boys at campaign events.

• Promoting the “Big Lie” after refusing to acknowledge his defeat and spreading unfounded claims of election fraud to silence Michigan voters.

• Trying to cover up his “lucrative business relationship” with a state-controlled Chinese automaker.

• Running campaigns bankrolled by dangerous, far-right billionaires like Betsy DeVos’ family and Dick Uihlein.

“John James is a back-to-back loser who has repeatedly proved that he’s more interested in his extreme agenda of partisan politics than serving Michiganders,” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “MI-10 voters have already rejected James twice because they see him for exactly what he is – a dishonest politician who threatens their health care, lies about his business dealings, and spreads conspiracies to undermine our democracy and silence Michiganders’ voices.”
