Two Year Anniversary of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, A Reminder That Angie Craig Helped Rebuild Minnesota’s Economy

Two years ago, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law – a once-in-a-generation investment in America’s infrastructure championed by Congresswoman Angie Craig to create good-paying union jobs, fix our crumbling roads and bridges, and expand high-speed internet access.

Thanks to Rep. Craig, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will continue to:

  • Enable 13,000 households in district to access free or discounted high-speed internet service, reducing costs by nearly $4.7 million annually

  • Invest more than $2.4 billion to improve hundreds of thousands of miles of roads and fix thousands of bridges in Minnesota

  • Strengthen supply-chains and expedite the movement of goods

  • Invest and modernize airport terminals to the tune of nearly $35 million in Minnesota alone

  • Upgrade our nation’s ports and waterways

DCCC Spokesperson Mallory Payne:
“The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law is rebuilding Minnesota’s crumbling roads and bridges, expanding high-speed internet access, and creating good-paying union jobs. This once-in-a-generation investment could not have been made possible without the tireless efforts of Rep. Angie Craig.”
