Tyler Kistner pledged allegiance to Kevin McCarthy this morning after the House GOP’s extremist ringleader was caught in a bold-faced lie. The very same Kevin McCarthy who is propping up Kistner’s campaign, and who Kistner has repeatedly tried to cozy up to.
Just hours after decrying New York Times reporting about him telling Trump to resign, saying it was “totally false and wrong,” Kevin McCarthy was caught on tape explicitly suggesting Trump should resign. McCarthy knew January 6 was a stain on our history, and then proceeded to continue groveling for Trump’s support.
Minnesotans can’t trust Tyler Kistner – especially when it comes to defending the most basic values of our democracy.
