U.S. Jobless Claims Drop to 375,000, Another Pandemic Low As American Rescue Plan Reboots Economy
In another sign of strength for America’s recovering economy, today the U.S. Labor Department announced that jobless claims fell to 375,000, the lowest reported numbers since the pandemic began.
President Biden and House Democrats’ economic agenda is to thank for rebooting the American economy, delivering a middle class tax cut in the Biden Child Tax Credit that helps get parents back to work, reopening small businesses, and crushing COVID-19. Meanwhile, extremist House Republicans peddle lies about the efficacy of masks and vaccines that could threaten our progress. And don’t forget, not a single Republican in Congress voted for the American Rescue Plan.
