Ultra-Conservative Governor John Kasich Hits the Campaign Trail for Vulnerable House Republican Carlos Curbelo

\

After only winning his home state of Ohio in the Republican Party’s presidential primary, ultra-conservative Governor John Kasich is campaigning for one of the nation’s most vulnerable House Republicans, Carlos Curbelo.

Curbelo has been desperately running away from his party’s standard bearer, Donald Trump, painting himself as a moderate in this Democratic-leaning district. But by campaigning with Kasich, he’s proving that he’s no better than his fellow Republicans, putting party before country. But don’t take our word for it, let the Kasich-Curbelo ultra conservative record speak for itself:

On the issues John Kasich Carlos Curbelo
Curbelo-Kasich-Trump’s anti-immigrant agenda Just like the Republican Party’s racist standard bearer, Kasich agrees to a border wall and compared the millions of hardworking immigrant living in the shadows as jumping in line “at a Taylor Swift concert.”

Curbelo used his immigration PAC to donate to right wing Republicans who oppose immigration reform.
Anti-women record The Republican governor of Ohio has bolstered his pro-life record, which has led to a decrease of reproductive health care clinics shrink in his state. On equal pay for equal work, Kasich blamed gender pay inequity “on experience time.” And in an extreme move against women’s health, Kasich signed a budget striping funds from Planned Parenthood. Curbelo voted twice to block the Paycheck Fairness Act and voted five times to defund Planned Parenthood.
War on Social Security Kasich has actively pushed for proposals that would have dramatically cut  Social Security benefits. Kasich’s plan? Privatize this program that millions of Americas desperately need. Curbelo called Social Security a Ponzi scheme and backed Republican plans to privatize Social Security

Carlos Curbelo and his ultra-conservative friends are not fooling anyone in South Florida.

“Dime con quién andas y te diré quién eres, Carlos Curbelo,” said Javier Gamboa of the DCCC. “It doesn’t matter what Carlos Curbelo does or say, or what Republican stumps for him, he still belongs belong to the Trump-Republican Party.  Curbelo and Kasich not only share the same ultra-conservative agenda, but they also share the same path to failure.”
