IRVINE – It’s been one week since news broke that disgraced former Maricopa County Sherriff Joe Arpaio would be headlining a fundraiser for the Fresno County GOP… and still no word from Congressman David Valadao. DCCC spokesperson Drew Godinich released the following statement:
“Sherriff Joe Arpaio illegally targeted and profiled people of color and subjected them to countless human rights abuses during a two-decade reign of terror in Arizona. Joe Arpaio is not a man to be honored – he is a man to be shunned. For Congressman David Valadao to remain silent as his party embraces this man is unconscionable, and he should immediately condemn the presence of this hatemonger.”

- FWIW, David Valadao has voted with Donald Trump 98% of the time
