| Earlier this week, David Valadao voted AGAINST lowering food costs for Central Valley families.
When he had the chance to pass an amendment that would carve out food items from House Republicans’ reckless, cost-spiking tariffs, Valadao voted NO.
Californians are already getting crushed by rising costs on everything from gas to groceries to health care. Yet instead of fighting to bring relief, Valadao refused to take even the most basic step to make food more affordable.
REMINDER: This is the ninth time Valadao voted in favor of reckless tariffs. Valadao also cast the deciding vote on the Big, Ugly, Law that ripped food assistance away from more than 60,000 households in CA-22.
