Last week, House Republicans plowed through their Tax Scam, stripping health care away from 17 million Americans and threatening millions of Americans’ SNAP benefits – representing the largest and cruelest cut to health care and food assistance in American history – all to hand tax cuts to billionaires they don’t need.
Congressman Gabe Vasquez fought back against and firmly rejected the bill – which threatens health care for over 38,000 people and food assistance for more than 67,000 households in New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District alone.
