J.R. Majewski has still refused to provide any evidence refuting a report that revealed he lied about his military record.
Instead, Majewski has left us with more questions than answers. Here’s what we know:
-
On seven separate occasions, J.R. Majewski insisted he had deployed to Afghanistan.
-
Military documents revealed by both the Associated Press and J.R. Majewski himself show no evidence of him deploying to Afghanistan.
J.R. Majewski needs to stop dancing around the truth and give Ohio’s voters the honesty they deserve about his claims that he was deployed in combat to Afghanistan.
Joint statement from Army Veteran Paul Moon, Ottawa County, OH; Marine Veteran Ralph Green, Lucas County, OH; Navy Veteran Lisa Sobecki, Lucas County, OH; Marine Veteran Tracy Counsellor, Lucas County, OH; and Navy Veteran Paul Christman, Ottawa County, OH:
“J.R. Majewski needs to come clean about being deployed in combat to Afghanistan. Those of us who have served can see clearly that J.R. Majewski is hiding the truth to advance his political career. There is honor in serving in America’s Armed Forces – there’s no honor in misrepresenting your record.”
