VIDEO: Health Hazard Herrell Steadfastly Supports Non-Approved Use of Ivermectin Even After 2 New Mexicans Die

Despite recent deaths associated with ivermectin abuse in New Mexico, Rep. Herrell pushes for the horse dewormer as a treatment for COVID

This week, New Mexico Representative Yvette Herrell tripled down on COVID-19 conspiracies. Caught on video, Herrell again encouraged the use of the medication, ivermectin, as a cure for COVID-19.

This comes as it was reported this week that New Mexico saw two deaths due to misuse of ivermectin. The FDA, CDC, and New Mexico’s own Health Secretary have warned the public against using the horse deworming medication to treat viruses, yet the state of New Mexico is seeing an increase in toxic exposure.

“Rep. Yvette Herrell’s pandemic-prolonging lies are not only disqualifying, they’re a health hazard,” said DCCC spokesperson Adrian Eng-Gastelum. “New Mexicans deserve a leader who will tell the truth and put the public’s well-being above the conspiracy theories of the QAnon Caucus.”
