After his arrest in New York, disgraced ex-President Donald Trump called on Congressional Republicans to “defund the DOJ and FBI until they come to their senses.” When asked to comment or distance themselves from these calls to defund the agencies that keep us safe and uphold the rule of law, David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani“didn’t provide any comment on whether they back Trump’s calls to defund the FBI and DOJ.”
Despite representing districts President Biden won, Schweikert and Ciscomani refuse to abandon Trump and are seemingly leaving the door open to do his bidding in Congress.

“It’s shameful that David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani are so committed to Donald Trump and the GOP’s extreme MAGA agenda, that they are unwilling to condemn attacks on federal law enforcement agencies that keep us safe and secure. Voters deserve better than MAGA rubber stamps like Schweikert and Ciscomani.”
