In competitive House races across the country, Republicans are fighting amongst each other for Trump’s support, despite his disastrous record and widespread unpopularity.

According to Bloomberg, “some Republicans in purple districts are counting on the president’s backing now being worth any political cost that may come their way — and even calling on him to campaign in their districts.”
Unfortunately for them, the President has made it clear “I don’t care about the midterms” — a sentiment fully reflected in his economic agenda. Time and again, Trump has dismissed affordability concerns as a “hoax,” brushed off rising gas prices as “peanuts,” and openly admitted he isn’t thinking about Americans’ finances “even a little bit.”
DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Every time vulnerable Republicans fall in line behind Trump by rubberstamping toxic issues like the war, price-hiking tariffs, and a billion dollar ballroom, they are reminding voters that they don’t give a damn about the American people. People are pissed that Republicans won’t do a thing to lower costs, and it’s going to be a huge motivator for voters in November.”
