Despite being in the majority, vulnerable California Republicans have been wildly ineffective when it comes to cutting costs and delivering tax relief for homeowners and the middle class.
New reporting from Bloomberg details how these members – including Reps. Mike Garcia, Young Kim, and Michelle Steel – have “failed to convince their party to go along” with efforts to reduce the tax burden on families that need it the most.
Vulnerable Republicans like Garcia, Kim, and Steel have spent more time falling in line behind their MAGA colleagues than delivering for Californians.

“Mike Garcia, Young Kim, and Michelle Steel can’t be trusted to bring home much needed relief to middle class families who are relying on Congress to deliver critical relief from sky-high costs – they’re too busy contributing to a dysfunctional, Speaker-less House.
