Vulnerable Valadao Thinks Hiding His Multimillion Dollar Creditors is “Relatable”

Valadao is once again avoiding answering questions about his financial disclosures and debts — this time claiming it makes him “relatable”

In Roll Call today, Rep. David Valadao once again dodged requests from the press, farm worker advocates, and his constituents to reveal who he owed millions of dollars to while running for and serving in Congress. Valadao’s skirting of House ethics rules to conceal the identity of his creditors proves Valadao is not only financially bankrupt but morally bankrupt as well.

Vulnerable Valadao’s response? My multimillion dollar debt to undisclosed creditors is so relatable!

Q: Here in D.C., you’re probably best known for your financial issues and your impeachment vote. What’s something else you want people to know about you?

A: Impeachment comes up a lot, but the dairy one rarely ever comes up. I think it actually made me more relatable to the majority of the folks in the district — someone experiencing problems just like they are. It’s life, it sadly is, and I know I’m not the last one to go through this.

“After months of calls from constituents and local reporters David Valadao is still refusing to disclose who he owed millions of dollars in debt to while running for and serving in Congress. Who is David Valadao really serving? The Central Valley deserves a representative who will deliver real results and not Vulnerable Valadao’s out-of-touch financial shadiness.”
