Larkin Refuses to Accept Results of 2020 Election, Answer Questions on Jan. 6
WA-08 candidate Matt Larkin’s extremism was on full display during a damaging new interview in which he refused to accept the results of the 2020 election and refused to take a stance on setting up a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 riot, which resulted in 5 deaths and hundreds of injuries.
From the Seattle Times:
“He said he doesn’t know how he would have voted on the creation of a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.”

“Larkin also wouldn’t say whether he believes President Joe Biden’s win over Donald Trump was legitimate or whether he buys into Trump’s unproven and false claims of widespread fraud.”
People in WA-08 deserve to know: Does Larkin condemn the violence that took place during the Jan. 6 riot on the U.S. Capitol? Does he side with far-right extremists and deny the results of the 2020 election?
“Matt Larkin can’t dodge these questions forever. By refusing to even acknowledge the results of the 2020 election or take a stance on the Jan. 6 riot, Larkin has already proven that he is too extreme for WA-08,” said DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw.
