The GOP primary in Washington’s Eighth District is heating up – and conspiracy theories are taking center stage.
Extremist candidates Matt Larkin, Jesse Jensen, and Reagan Dunn are locked in a bruising primary battle to prove who is most closely aligned with the far-right fringes of their party.
In a recent interview with KUOW, Larkin claimed to be the “most conservative” member of the primary field – but he has some serious competition for the title.
Jensen was just caught spreading dangerous misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine and Washington State Board of Health, while Dunn claimed that disgraced former President Trump wasn’t to blame for the deadly January 6 attack that left five dead and hundreds more injured – including members of law enforcement.
