Washington Republicans Are Backing the Worst of the Worst

New reporting by Michelle Goldberg in the New York Times digs into how in spite of the horrific statements and conduct by GOP candidates in battleground districts, national Republicans have actively and enthusiastically supported their bad behavior.

We can’t repeat the things that TX-23 GOP nominee Brandon Herrera has said about mothers, seniors, or Jews. It’s hard to fathom the conduct of Cory Mills (FL-07) or Max Miller (OH-07). And it’s even harder to imagine a major political party backing them… but that’s exactly what Mike Johnson and House Republicans have done.

DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:

“House Republicans will do anything to protect their own power. They’re backing Nazis sympathizers, alleged child abusers, and dirtbags who belong nowhere near the United States Congress. It’s clear that there is no limit to how low they will go. The American people are better than this — they’ll prove it in November when they power Democrats back to the House majority.”
