WASHINGTON SUN: Paul LePage Violated Federal Financial Disclosure Law

New reporting from The Washington Sun reveals that Paul LePage is almost FIVE months late disclosing his personal finances to Maine voters, directly violating government ethics laws.

LePage’s campaign confirmed to The Sun that he still has not filed his disclosure, breaking federal rules specifically “designed to curb conflicts of interest and enhance public transparency.”

LePage last disclosed his personal finances to Mainers in May of 2025 — more than 17 months ago. Now, weeks before election day, Maine voters STILL don’t have basic information about where LePage’s money is coming from.

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Paul LePage has spent months breaking election law in an effort to hide his finances from the very people he’s trying to represent. The last thing Mainers need is another shameless out-of-touch politician who thinks the rules don’t apply to him.”
