WATCH: Career Politician Rob Wittman Thinks Gas is $2.87/Gallon – Is He Living on Planet Earth?

After nearly 20 years in Washington, it looks like Congressman Rob Wittman is in need of a reality check.

When asked this week if he knows how much the price of gas is, Wittman responded that he fueled up in the morning for $2.87 a gallon. Huh?

NEWS FLASH: The average price of gas in Virginia yesterday was $4.09/gallon according to AAA. 13NewsNow reports that gas prices have surged well over $4 bucks.

Watch Wittman lie to his constituents for yourself…

Question: Congressman, do you know how much people are paying for gas in your district?

Rep. Wittman: [Silence]

Question: So you don’t know?

Rep. Wittman: I know how much I paid this morning. $2.87 a gallon.

DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“We knew that career politician Rob Wittman was a creature of the swamp, but now it’s worth asking if he’s even living on planet earth. He’s unleashed skyrocketing prices at the pump and is so out of touch that he doesn’t even know the damage he’s inflicted on Virginia families.”
