| Bombshell new reporting from the Daily Mail exposes Joe Mitchell in a “damning video” featuring a “vulgar rant” about women – along with multiple photos and videos of Mitchell including one where he “wrote that he was ‘taking lots of xanx tonight,’ adding ‘and no one will stop me.’”
The reporting includes video of Mitchell “caught on camera crying about his ‘d***’ size” and “making a series of confounding outbursts about black women” while also “making negative remarks about white women.”
Multiple sources tell the Daily Mail they came forward because “voters deserve ‘the full picture’ of who they are electing,” called Mitchell “insane” and “a clown…basically known for being a ridiculous person,” and said “the behavior portrayed in the video is ‘consistent with his behavior’ at the time.”

- A Donald Trump-endorsed Republican congressional candidate in Iowa was filmed in college talking about his manhood, challenging his black friends into a measuring contest and making a series of confounding outbursts about black women.
- Iowa Republican Joe Mitchell, 29, is running in Iowa’s highly competitive 2nd District… But when he was a student at Drake University, he was caught on camera crying about his ‘d***’ size and talking about ‘black women,’ before adding that he wants to ‘f*** J*****e,’ a black woman he had a crush on at the time.
- ‘I want to marry one,’ Mitchell then said of black women in the video obtained by the Daily Mail.
- Mitchell responded in the video to one question, saying, ‘I want my kids to not be white, ok?’ because ‘I don’t like ‘f***ing white people, ok?’ before adding, ‘why do you think I hang out with people that aren’t white?’
- Mitchell is also seen challenging his inquisitors to compete in a competition about their manhood.
- ‘Let’s f***ing measure them. Prove it to me. Prove it to me right now,’ he says. ‘Forfeit! Forfeit! Forfeit!’
- ‘You guys are the racist ones,’ he implores, standing in front of a wall placard featuring then-Democrat and now Independent Senator Bernie Sanders.
- An attorney for the Mitchell campaign did not dispute the authenticity of the video…
- Two Snapchat screenshots shared with the Daily Mail appear to show Mitchell discussing his own ‘alcohol violations’ while he was a college student.
- In a post sent by Mitchell, screenshotted by a source, the future GOP candidate shared a selfie boasting about racking up ‘2 alcohol violations in a week.’
- In another screenshotted post, he wrote that he was ‘taking lots of xanx tonight,’ adding ‘and no one will stop me.’
- The woman who provided the Daily Mail with the videos…said she expected him to blame the alcohol. ‘We are all drunk and young once, but that doesn’t make us any less accountable for our words,’ she said.
- She told the Daily Mail she came forward because voters deserve ‘the full picture’ of who they are electing.
- A second source, a male who also knew Mitchell at the time the video was taken, believes the statements were indicative of his views then.
- The male source also revealed that Mitchell, on numerous occasions, claimed that he ‘did not want white children, he frequently lamented that’ and asked other people who were in the room when the 2017 videos were taken to ‘hook him up with black women.’
- Mitchell was ‘insane, he was a clown… he was basically known for being a ridiculous person,’ said the source who hasn’t spoken to Mitchell since college.
- A second woman, who said a couple of her friends dated Mitchell in college, also said the behavior portrayed in the video is ‘consistent with his behavior’ at the time…
