DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján: When you look at the trend associating with the generic poll, Democrats have had a consistent advantage over this Congress. But I’ll say that there’s nothing generic about our candidates. Veterans, CIA operatives, women, small business leaders – most of them leading in head to head polling in districts across the country. That’s why at the DCCC I’ve actually been releasing district by district polling while my counterpart, Steve Stivers at the NRCC, is still reluctant to do that. So I’ll stand by our candidates, I’ll stand by our polling. I never said that this would be easy. We’re going to have the fight for every inch. And just know that we are going to be in a position to do so.
