New TV and radio ads will reach TX-24 voters on English broadcast and Spanish radio
Today, the DCCC released its first TV and radio ads ahead of the general election in TX-24, highlighting the many reasons Texans can’t trust reckless Beth Van Duyne to protect them in Congress, especially when it comes to their health care. The ads began airing today on Dallas broadcast, cable, and radio.
The TV ad, “Warning,” highlights Van Duyne recklessly promoting the re-opening of Texas, even as she knew that there was no safe plan to do so, and continuing to aggressively promote re-opening more as COVID numbers increased. The ad also spotlights Van Duyne’s “health care plan” to gut protections for pre-existing conditions like COVID-19 and strip health care from 13 million Americans. The ad will reach TX-24 voters on Dallas broadcast.
“Comadres” is running in Dallas, targeting Spanish speaking voters on the radio. Via a Zoom call between two “comadres” (girlfriends), the ad sheds light on Van Duyne’s careless promotion of re-opening Texas in midst of the pandemic and her plan to strip health care from thousands of Texans, and gut protections from people with pre-existing conditions.
“Texan families can’t trust reckless Beth Van Duyne to keep them safe, as she aggressively promoted the re-opening of Texas even as COVID numbers increased and has a dangerous plan to gut the health care of millions of Texans,” said DCCC Spokesperson Fabiola Rodriguez.
