Today, the DCCC announced a new a Spanish-language television ad exposing Congressman Jeff Denham’s false promises to protect his constituents’ health care coverage.

The ad highlights how Jeff Denham sings a different tune on health care when he’s in the Central Valley than when he’s voting lockstep with Washington Republicans and President Trump to make health care less affordable:
- CLAIM: Denham said he would vote against any bill that would eliminate protections for people with pre-existing conditions.
- FACT: He supported a proposal that would have left 55,000 of his constituents with less protections.
- CLAIM: He said he would fight to make health care more accessible for all.
- FACT: He voted to allow insurance companies to charge the elderly and women more than everyone else.

El DCCC hoy anunció un comercial de televisión en español que expone las promesas falsas que Jeff Denham hizo acerca de proteger el cuidado de salud de sus constituyentes. La campaña publicitaria saldrá al aire hoy en el Distrito 10 del Congreso de California.

Del dicho al hecho hay mucho trecho. El comercial se enfoca en lo diferente que suena Denham cuando habla sobre el cuidado de salud en el Valle Central comparado a los votos que él toma en Washington con los republicanos y el presidente Trump para aumentar el costo del cuidado de salud.
- DICHO: “Jeff Denham dijo que votaría en contra de cualquier medida que ofreciera menos protecciones a personas con enfermedades preexistentes.”
- HECHO: “Apoyó una propuesta que hubiera dejado a casi 50 mil personas en nuestra comunidad con menos protecciones.”
- DICHO: “Dijo que lucharía para que el seguro médico sea más accesible para todos.”
- HECHO: “Votó por permitir que las compañías de seguro cobren aún más a las mujeres y las personas mayores.”
