Today the DCCC released a new video on the anniversary of the investigation into Shady Chabot’s Congressional campaign.
The video highlights how Chabot’s campaign has completely unraveled in the wake of this breaking news: his Campaign Manager went missing, his “Treasurer” didn’t know he had the job, a Grand Jury was convened, and $123,000 is still missing from his campaign.
But even as Ohioans continue to learn what goes on behind closed doors in Shady Chabot’s campaign office, questions still remain, especially after Chabot confirmed the FBI is investigating his campaign.
DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer released the following statement:
“It’s been one whole year since Ohioans learned just how shady Congressman Chabot’s campaign really is, but voters are still left with more questions than answers. With Chabot’s confirmation just last week the FBI is investigating his campaign, Ohioans are more ready than ever for fresh leadership. After all, Shady Chabot said it best: ‘We’re dealing with a sleazy group of people and it starts at the top of the ticket.’”
