Unique partnership reflects DCCC’s focus on producing creative digital content – Ads Run on Facebook & Google Search

As part of an ad blitz tied to tax day, the DCCC today released a new digital ad titled “Diamond Teeth” that highlights House Republicans’ prioritization of the biggest corporations and the very rich at the expense of middle-class Americans. The first in a series, the ad was written and directed by comedy writer/producer Ben Wexler, whose credits include Arrested Development, Funny or Die, Community, and other television shows and movies. Hans Sahni and Rob Hatch-Miller, who have worked on Funny or Die, Comedy Central and more, also co-produced the ad.

Diamond Teeth” will begin running April 17th – the day taxes are due – on Facebook and Google Search, targeting many millions of voters.

“The DCCC is excited to partner with creative voices outside of DC to project a powerful and resonant message to midterm voters,” said DCCC Executive Director Dan Sena. “Our latest ad campaign brings to life the truly shameless agenda that Washington Republicans are pursuing on behalf of their donors.”

“The Republican tax scam exposed House Republicans’ upside-down priorities and has caused long-term damage to their standing with the American people,” said DCCC Communications Director Meredith Kelly. “Every day we are going to put a spotlight on this handout to the rich and large corporations at the expense of the middle-class families who deserve more money in their pockets and lower healthcare costs.”
