WATCH: FIRST DCCC AD IN CA-25 HIGHLIGHTS STEVE KNIGHT’S BIG PHARMA-SPONSORED VACATIONS – IN EXCHANGE FOR COPORATE TAX BREAKS

IRVINE – The DCCC announced its first television ad in California’s 25th Congressional District today. The ad highlights vulnerable Rep. Steve Knight’s votes to give $40 billion in tax breaks to the pharmaceutical industry – while enjoying four Hawaiian vacations on their dime.

The ad, FITS, begins airing on September 18th. DCCC spokesperson Drew Godinich released the following statement:

“While millions of Californians are suffering from the skyrocketing costs of prescription drugs, Congressman Steve Knight voted to give $40 billion in tax breaks to the pharmaceutical industry. And four Hawaiian vacations paid for by Big Pharma later, it’s clear that Steve Knight is right at home in Washington’s corrupt Congress. After Southern Californians throw him out this November, Steve Knight will have time for all the Hawaiian vacations he wants.”

“Imagine…Hawaii. The beaches. Relaxation. One of these guys… maybe one of theeeeeese… wait. Congressman Steve Knight? Hawaii?!?

Yep. Turns out, Knight’s taken four Hawaiian getaways, courtesy of the pharmaceutical industry.

Now Knight’s giving the drug companies over forty billion in tax breaks.

Four Hawaii getaways. Forty billion in pharmaceutical industry giveaways. Seems like Steve Knight fits better here – in Washington’s corrupt Congress.”
