WATCH: FIRST DCCC AD IN NEVADA HITS TARKANIAN FOR HISTORY SETTING UP FAKE CHARITIES THAT STOLE MILLIONS FROM SENIORS

The DCCC announced its first ad in Nevada of the 2018 election today. The ad reminds voters of Danny Tarkanian’s history of scandal.

The ad, WENT ON, highlights Danny Tarkanian’s half-dozen failed runs for public office, the 13 fake charities that he set up that stole millions from seniors, and the $17 million judgement on a failed equestrian resort that he refused to pay. DCCC spokesperson Drew Godinich released the following statement:

“Danny Tarkanian has tried to con Nevada voters into electing him 7 times, with no success. And with his long track record of scandal, from setting up fake charities that stole millions from seniors to the $17 million bill for an equestrian resort that taxpayers were forced to pay, it’s no wonder that they’re ready to reject him again this fall.”

SCRIPT:

“Victor Lustig was a con man who swindled victims by pretending to sell them the Eiffel Tower. Twice.

But twice is nothing compared to the 7 times Danny Tarkanian tried to con Nevada voters into electing him.

Or the 13 fake charities he set up… that went on to steal millions from seniors through telemarketing scams.

Or the $17 million judgment he refused to pay. Danny Tarkanian. Another con man who can’t hide the truth.”
