Today, the DCCC released a new ad titled “Own It”, highlighting Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler’s hard-right record of supporting Trump and voting with Trump’s agenda. While Herrera Beutler took $1.6 million in campaign donations from corporate special interests, she voted for $80 billion in tax giveaways for big corporations and drug companies. Herrera Beutler’s support for Trump and his tax giveaway endangers our seniors putting Medicare and Social Security at risk. The TV ad is airing now on broadcast stations across Washington’s 3rd District.

“In her ten years in Congress, Jaime Herrera Beutler has shown she is nothing more than a creature of DC and a rubber stamp for Trump, the Washington establishment and her corporate donors. Rather than sticking up for the best interests of her district and the needs of families in Southwest Washington, she voted for Trump’s $80 billion in tax giveaways for drug companies and her corporate donors. The families of Southwest Washington deserve better.”
