| Newly surfaced footage from Heartland Signal exposes Eric Conroy for hypocritically calling for civility and toned down rhetoric just months after comparing his own neighbors to terrorists.
Late last year, Conroy joked that “sometimes terrorists are easier to talk to than Democrats — which is another thing that you learn very quickly.”
Fast forward to last month: Conroy insisted on the Scott Sloan show that “violence has absolutely no place in our politics” and called for “a return of civility and not demonizing other sides.”
It’s a nice sentiment — but one Conroy clearly doesn’t apply to himself.
Let’s be clear: Conroy’s “lower the temperature” speech is a cynical cover for the exact kind of inflammatory rhetoric he claims to oppose — and OH-01 voters will see right through it.DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
