Today, the DCCC released its latest TV ad in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, “Lawbreaker,” which, once again, exposes how GOP candidate Lauren Boebert doesn’t think the same laws that keep us all safe applies to her. The ad will air beginning today in the Grand Junction and Colorado Springs media markets.
While Boebert claims to be for the rule of law and told others to “behave,” she has repeatedly flouted the law herself and put others at risk. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, she put herself before her customers and defied health department orders to keep people safe and prevent the spread of the virus. And that’s just the latest example in a dangerous pattern for Boebert: previously Boebert flouted food safety regulations and then gave about 80 people food poisoning with spoiled pork at a county rodeo where her establishment. And over the last decade, she has been arrested and ordered to appear in court four times, including one arrest for disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement.
“If Lauren Boebert can’t even abide by the rule of law in Colorado, how can hard working families put their faith in her to protect public safety and defend the rule of law in Washington?” asked DCCC Spokesperson Brooke Goren.
