WATCH NEW DCCC AD: “BRUCE POLIQUIN DOESN’T WORK FOR WORKING FAMILIES”

In the race for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, the DCCC today announced a new television ad that makes the case that Congressman Poliquin works for special interests and his donors, not working Maine families.

The ad highlights the fact that Poliquin has prioritized tax breaks for his donors and up to $42 billion in corporate handouts for big pharmaceutical companies that have backed his campaigns. Meanwhile, the tax bill he voted for blows a $2 trillion hole in the deficit and threatens Medicare and Social Security. The ad will begin airing in the district on Tuesday, September 18th.

“Congressman Poliquin has consistently chosen to put his special interest backers before hardworking families in Maine. That’s the only explanation for why he voted for a tax bill that would give a huge handout to special interests, while raising working Mainers’ taxes and blowing a two-trillion dollar hole in the deficit. And now, he’s trying to cut Social Security and Medicare to cover that hole. Mainers work hard and they deserve a Representative who’ll work hard for them, not the highest bidder.”

Poliquin voted for tax breaks to his wealthy donors …

that add $2 trillion dollars in debt … And he wants to slash Medicare and Social Security.

He gave away $42 billion to big pharma.

Who gave him over $50,000 dollars.

Bruce Poliquin doesn’t work … For working families.
