WATCH: NEW DCCC AD HIGHLIGHTS DINO ROSSI’S SUPPORT FOR DONORS OVER WASHINGTON SENIORS, CHILDREN

Today, the DCCC announced a new television ad in Washington’s 8th Congressional District hitting career politician Dino Rossi’s for his consistent record of supporting his wealthy donors’ interests over Washington’s seniors and children.

The ad, “Talks,” highlights Rossi’s support for raising taxes on seniors in nursing homes and slashing health care coverage for 46,000 children, while fighting to ensure that country club membership fees were exempt from taxes. Click HERE to watch the ad.

“Career politician Dino Rossi’s record in Olympia couldn’t be more clear – working overtime to slash healthcare from children and raise costs on seniors so that his wealthy donors can claim tax breaks on their country club memberships. Working Washington families cannot afford Dino Rossi in Congress.” – DCCC Spokesperson Drew Godinich

Script:

“Like any huckster – Dino Rossi talks a good game. But the record shows Rossi tried to cut health coverage for forty-six thousand kids. Raised “bed taxes” on nursing homes. While making sure country club membership fees were exempt from taxes. Now Rossi supports tax breaks for his wealthy donors – that could mean Medicare cuts for us. So when Dino Rossi tries his next con job – remember, he’s not for us.”
