Today, in the race for Virginia’s Tenth Congressional District, the DCCC announced a new television ad that holds Rep. Barbara Comstock accountable for consistently supporting President Donald Trump’s agenda in Congress, including the GOP tax scam that will hammer her district and threaten Social Security and Medicare. The ad will begin airing in the district Wednesday, September 12th.
The ad, “Percent,” highlights Comstock’s record of voting 97.8% of the time with President Trump. Comstock voted for Trump’s tax scam, despite knowing that the majority of its benefits would go to the ultra-wealthy, that many families and homeowners in her district would see their taxes go up, and that Republican leaders are considering cuts to Medicare and Social Security to pay for it.
