WATCH: NEW DCCC AD SLAMS LENA EPSTEIN FOR TRUMP’S HEALTHCARE PLAN THAT HURTS MICHIGAN SENIORS

Today, the DCCC released its latest TV ad in Michigan’s 11th Congressional District race targeting Donald Trump’s Michigan Co-Chair Lena Epstein for her unabashed support of Trump’s healthcare plan that charges older Americans up to five times more. The six-figure television ad buy has started.

The ad, “Five Times,” tells voters that Republican candidate Lena Epstein’s loyalty of Trump will hurt older Michiganders. Epstein supports Trump’s healthcare plan that will charge people over the age of 50 five times more than anyone else and gut protections for Americans with pre-existing conditions.

“Lena Epstein co-chaired Trump’s campaign in Michigan, and now she’s running to rubberstamp his harmful healthcare agenda in D.C.,” said DCCC spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “Epstein’s loyalty to Trump will hurt Michigan voters, especially those over the age of 50 who would be charged five times more for healthcare, if Epstein had her way. Epstein can’t be trusted to fight for Michiganders when she’s President Trump’s biggest fan.”

Script:

Five. Five times.

Insurance companies could charge people over 50 five times more than anyone else.

If Lena Epstein and Donald Trump get their way.

Because Epstein supported Trump’s healthcare plan, even though the AARP said it would hike insurance premiums by $3,000.

Maybe that doesn’t matter to a millionaire like Epstein. But $3,000 adds up for the rest of us.

One thing is clear: Lena Epstein is not for us.
