WATCH: New DCCC AR-02 Ad Slams French Hill’s Washington D.C. Transformation

Today, the DCCC launched its first TV ad in Arkansas’ 2nd Congressional District, highlighting how Congressman Hill left Arkansas’ values behind when he went Washington. In Washington, Hill took millions from special interests and then voted to gut protections for people living with pre-existing conditions, write a massive tax handout to millionaires [like himself], and add $1.9 trillion to the debt that will threaten cuts to Medicare and Social Security. The six-figure television ad buy starts Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

“After nearly four years, Congressman Hill is more at home at the center of the Washington D.C. swamp than he ever was in a duck blind. And the longer he’s in Washington, the more he loses touch with the needs of everyday working Arkansans,” said DCCC Spokesperson, Cole Leiter.

Leiter continued, “From Hill’s votes to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions, to cutting taxes for his fellow millionaires and putting Medicare and Social Security at risk, it’s clear Hill has left Arkansas behind.”

CHANGED” SCRIPT:

VOICE OVER: Time was, French Hill at least pretended he’s one of us.

But things change when politicians get to Washington.

As Congressman, French Hill votes like a DC insider:

For the insurance companies – he voted to deny protections for pre-existing conditions.

For the rich – a tax bill benefitting millionaires…millionaires like French Hill.

And he voted for more debt that threatens cuts to Medicare and Social Security.

So take a look at French Hill now…he’s changed.
