Today, the DCCC released a new Spanish-language television ad in California’s 21st Congressional District, laying out why the people of the Central Valley can’t trust rejected Congressman David Valadao to do anything other than vote with Trump 99 percent of the time.
“Increible” spotlights how Donald Trump is one of Valadao’s top fans, who compliments him whenever he has a chance. Unfortunately for Valadao, these days Trump’s fan base isn’t in the Central Valley and voters haven’t forgotten that he sold them out by voting to gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions and create an age tax on older Americans. The ad will run in the Bakersfield media market on broadcast starting today.
“Central Valley families can’t trust rejected Congressman David Valadao to do anything, but vote with Trump 99 percent of the time, even when that means gutting protections for people with pre-existing conditions and increasing taxes for older Americans,” said DCCC Spokesperson Fabiola Rodriguez. “While he may be an ‘incredible guy’ for Trump, for families of the Central Valley, there’s nothing credible about Valadao. It’s why this November, they will reject him once again at the ballot box.”
