WATCH – New DCCC TV Ad Highlights Corrupt Career Politician David Valadao’s Record of Failing Central Valley Workers and Leaving California’s Working Families with the Bills

Today, the DCCC launched its first TV ad in California’s 21st Congressional District, “Failed,” which highlights rejected Congressman David Valadao’s harmful record of turning his back on Central Valley workers and leaving California’s working families to foot the bill for his failures in business.

As a Member of Congress, Valadao’s businesses were sued for fraud, failed to pay millions in debts to Central Valley businesses, and left California’s working families holding the bag for a total of $13 million Valadao refused to pay. But when Valadao wasn’t attempting to defraud Central Valley businesses, he was failing to protect his own workers including when dangerous machinery cut off an employee’s arm. And while Valadao was out stiffing workers and businesses in the Central Valley, he was also turning his back on the Central Valley and voting with Trump 99% of the time.

“As the Central Valley’s working families are struggling to make ends meet amid economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, the last thing they can afford is rejected Congressman David Valadao and his failed record of harming Central Valley workers and leaving California families to foot the bills for millions of dollars due to his business failures,” said DCCC Spokesperson Andy Orellana. “It’s clear that the Central Valley can’t afford anymore of David Valadao’s failures.”
