Today, the DCCC launched a new ad in California’s 48th Congressional District, “Access,” which highlights Michelle Steel’s record of being Orange County’s most corrupt career politician and how Steel is yet again tied to another political scandal.
Steel has spent a career in Orange County politics thinking the rules the rest of us follow don’t apply to her. As two of Steel’s campaign co-chairs were embroiled in a corruption scandal, Steel voted to defund the anti-corruption unit in Orange County that was actively investigating her political pals out. Now, new reporting shows Steel’s husband arranged for Chinese foreign nationals to gain access to leaders in Trump’s inner circle.
