WATCH: New DCCC TV Ad in IN-05 Slams Victoria Spartz for Cashing In at the Expense of Hoosier Families

Today, the DCCC released a new TV ad hitting Victoria Spartz for her years of corruption and using her office to potentially enrich herself and her family. “Typical,” airing on Indianapolis broadcast and cable starting today, outlines how she used her public office to write a law that could potentially benefit her wealthy family, even as it put Hoosiers at a greater risk of flooding.

“Victoria Spartz sees public office as a cash cow to enrich herself and her family, not to better the lives of working Hoosiers,” said DCCC Spokesperson Courtney Rice. “In the Indiana State Senate, she got caught trying to pass a law that would’ve benefitted land deals like the multi-million one her family had done– even as it put Hoosiers at risk of flooding. We can’t afford another self-interested politician like Victoria Spartz.”

TRANSCRIPT:

Victoria Spartz tried to hide it.

Failed to come clean.

But Spartz got caught.

Caught trying to hide that a law she wrote could have benefited her wealthy family.

Spartz tried to gut protections on Indiana’s wetlands…

…the very lands where her family wanted to build a multi-million dollar development.

Plus Spartz’s law could put our neighborhoods at risk of flooding.

Victoria Spartz.  Another politician who will cash in at our expense.
