Shedd Wants to Fully Repeal the Affordable Care Act
Today, the DCCC released a new TV ad in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District highlighting Shedd’s dangerous and reckless health care plan. The ad begins airing today on broadcast in the Phoenix media market.
“Here’s the Thing” reminds Arizonans that Shedd supported fully repealing the Affordable Care Act, an agenda that would eliminate protections for pre-existing conditions, institute an Age Tax for older Arizonans, and kick 50,000 people in her community off their health care. Her radical health care plan stands out particularly as Arizonans continue to struggle through a global pandemic.
“Arizonans can’t trust Tiffany Shedd to protect their health care,” said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. “Her plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act would eliminate protections for pre-existing conditions, create an Age Tax, and force tens of thousands of Arizonans off their health care. As we continue to feel the effects of COVID-19, Arizonans have no interest in Shedd’s backwards and radical health care agenda.”
