On the campaign trail this summer, Kistner has also falsely claimed “he would have won if not for (non-existent) voter fraud, of which he has zero evidence.”
While this might set off alarm bells for some, it apparently doesn’t bother the NRCC who included Tyler Kistner in their “Young Guns” recruit program for candidates that “embody the principles of the House Republican Conference and show promise of running a successful campaign.”
DCCC Spokesperson Elena Kuhn:
“Simply put: extremist candidates like Tyler Kistner who embrace Trump’s big lie that fueled a deadly attack on our nation’s Capitol have no business serving in the halls of Congress. While the NRCC might prop up insurrectionists and election conspiracy theorists, voters in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional district will see right through their dangerous lies.”
