After weeks of pressure, Steve Wells, the NY-22 GOP candidate famed for his unwillingness to go on the record on any important issues and for how scared he is to debate anyone, has finally admitted where he stands on abortion.
According to the Post-Standard, Wells recently revealed his deeply unpopular belief that states should be allowed to strip women of their rights, ban abortion with no exceptions, and put a target on the backs of doctors and patients in need of care.

“After weeks of pressure from voters, reporters, and his opponents, the best Wells has to offer is a deeply unpopular, and out-of-touch party talking point, covertly agreeing with the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. It’s abundantly clear: Wells is not cut out to represent Central New Yorkers in Congress.” |
