| Zach Nunn is refusing to hold town halls because he knows his voters aren’t happy with him. But as Nunn dodges Iowans and refuses to make public appearances, the local pressure on him just keeps mounting.
KGAN reports that Nunn “is facing growing calls to hold in-person town halls” as Iowans question why he’s not “showing up in person.”
WATCH ON KGAN:
KGAN: “Iowa congressman Zach Nunn is facing growing calls to hold in-person town halls.”
KGAN: “The Register reports Democratic leaders and some constituents say those meetings are critical for accountability and direct conversation.”
On Nunn’s excuses: “…critics argue that’s not the same as showing up in person.”
DCCC Spokesperson Katie Smith:
“Zach Nunn is terrified to face his constituents because he can’t defend his vote to raise Iowa families’ costs while giving billionaires a tax cut. Nunn can play chicken all he wants, but that won’t change the fact that Iowa voters will send him packing next year.”
