Congressman Ryan Mackenzie just let the cat out of the bag.
While speaking with NBC News, Mackenzie acknowledged that he and House Republicans “don’t have an actual plan” – even as Pennsylvanians face skyrocketing health care costs. Wow.
Mackenzie’s admission comes as the Pennsylvania Insurance Commission on Tuesday announced new 2026 rates for Pennie users. Premiums could “more than double” for some Pennsylvanians because Mackenzie has refused to extend the ACA tax credits.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin:
“Ryan Mackenzie doesn’t ‘have an actual plan’ to prevent Pennsylvanians’ health care costs from skyrocketing either because he doesn’t care if hardworking Lehigh Valley families are forced to pay more, or because he’s nothing more than a loyal lapdog who simply does what he’s told – even when it hurts his own constituents.” |
