Well, Well, Well, if It Isn’t the Consequences of House Republicans’ Own Actions

House Republicans’ terrible votes are coming back to haunt them on the campaign trail.

According to an analysis from CNN and AdImpact, “Democratic candidates are spending huge sums on ads targeting the Trump policies on tariffs, the war and on Medicaid spending that virtually all congressional Republicans voted to support.”

Here are some of the ways House Republicans are being held accountable for their awful votes:
  • Gabe Evans (CO-08) is being described as “Trump’s star student” after voting for Trump’s tariffs, health care cuts, and the war in Iran.
  • Paige Cognetti is slamming Rob Bresnahan (PA-08) for his stock trading hypocrisy and support for his party’s reckless policies.
  • Bobby Pulido is hitting Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) for her votes for the war in Iran, tariffs, and ICE overreach, saying, “While we pay record high diesel and gas prices, and out of control grocery bills, and families in our community are terrorized, Monica de la Cruz is silent… because she voted for this.”

DCCC Spokesperson Liam Buckley:
“House Republicans knew their votes would hurt hardworking families. If they’re looking for a culprit for their impending defeat, they should look in the mirror.”
